▋關於表演者 ▋ ● ELVIN BRANDHI（英國） Elvin Brandhi是一位即興作詞人和節拍製作人，發起社會美學漫溢的即興創作計畫，帶有馬戲團意圖恣意隨興地擴展。他的養成教育主體形塑自情境脈絡轉換和合作，作為對機構/學院的微神話藝術專業化和爬梯式自我最佳化的替代方案。他的創作實踐包括在任何可能的時間和地點進行表演、聽覺-聲波散文、錄像、取樣節拍和劇場式的公眾駭客等。他使用聲音和影像作為一種擴張性的姿態-情感語言，超越內在系統和承襲的語法規範。他的表演是堅定炸裂的爆發動畫，伴隨著尖酸帶刺的意識流在躁動出神的沉重感中尋歡作樂。他目前沒有固定的駐地，而是將聲音變異作為一種不斷變形的溝通碼進行擴展。 Bandcamp: https://elvinbrandhi.bandcamp.com/

-- ● TENGAL（菲律賓） Tengal是一位作曲家、媒體藝術家、策展人和文化推動者，從事以研究為基礎的製作，將藝術、科技與社會橋接在一起。Tengal最初是一位音樂家和作曲家，熱衷於賽局理論和演算法結構。他的作曲作品，例如Gangan系列，已在歐洲和亞洲各地演出。自2005年以來，他在馬尼拉及東南亞各地啟動了多項計畫。值得一提的是他創立了藝術組織「SABAW媒體藝術廚房」，為一個專注於聲音和媒體藝術的策展平台。他還共同創建國際平台「NUSASONIC」，這是一項為期數年探索東南亞實驗聲響和音樂文化廣泛系譜的計畫，促進區域內以及與歐洲的對話。他最近移居柏林，並在柏林藝術實驗室擔任特約策展人。

此君的名字在近年儼然成為了菲律賓乃至世界實驗音樂/噪音地下場景中的新指標性人物，身居多個噪音組合背後的主腦，舉凡White Widow、Francesco Terrini、Coalminer、以及噪音/黑金屬單人計畫Fleshcarver，皆由他所策動，並於2019年起超過數十張作品與合集發行於世界各地，合作對象包含長谷川洋（ASTRO、ex. -- ● 徐嘉駿 1997年生，現居臺北。聲音藝術家、活動策畫、獨立廠牌主理人。2015年開始以「Berserk」之名進行Harsh Noise噪音演出及創作，並受邀至英國、日本、馬來西亞等地巡迴演出，該計畫於2020年初中止。他長年實踐無輸入線路反饋（No-input Mixing Board）技術，並且在該技術上建立出獨樹一格的語彙，現以個人名義演出／創作，並更專注致力於帶領工作坊、場景培養以及活動策畫等。此外，他也是實驗音樂廠牌「Karma Detonation Tapes」的主理人，不定期發行臺灣及世界各地噪音與實驗音樂作品，將在地場景與世界連結。自2019年三月起，他開始策畫每月一次，在臺北各式公共空間、設施（如地下道、天橋、隧道涵洞等）的游擊演出〈Outer Pulsation〉。 Bandcamp: https://chia-chunxu.bandcamp.com/

▋about the performers ▋ ● ELVIN BRANDHI (UK) Elvin Brandhi is an improvising lyricist and beat producer instigating projects of improvised socio-aesthetic overflow expanding haphazardly with circus intent. The main body of her education takes shape via contextual shifts and collaborations, as alternative to institutional micro-mythological artistic specialization and ladder climbing self-optimisation. Her practice involves performing wherever and whenever possible, composing audio-sonic essays, videos, sample-based beats and theatrical public hacking. She uses sound and image as an expansive gestural-emotive language transgressing intrinsic systemics and inherited syntactical etiquettes. Her performances are unyielding bursts of erupting animation where her caustic stream of consciousness cavorts with restless, glitched out heaviness. -- ● TENGAL (PH) Tengal is a composer, media artist, curator, and cultural instigator, engaged in research-based production that bridges art, technology, and society. Tengal started as a musician and composer with a penchant for game theory and algorithmic structures. His compositional works, such as the Gangan Series, have been performed all over Europe and Asia. Since 2005, he has initiated various projects in Manila and across Southeast Asia. Notably, he founded the art organization SABAW Media Art Kitchen, a curatorial platform specializing in sound and media art. Tengal co-created the international platform NUSASONIC, a multi-year project that explored a wide spectrum of experimental sound and music cultures in Southeast Asia, fostering dialogue not only within the region but also with Europe. Recently relocating to Berlin, Tengal served as curator-at-large at Art Laboratory Berlin.

His name has become a new iconic figure in the experimental music/noise underground scene in the Philippines and even globally in the recent years. He is the mastermind behind several noise groups, including White Widow, Francesco Terrini, Coalminer, and the noise/black metal solo project Fleshcarver. Since 2019, he has released dozens of works and compilations worldwide. His collaborations include Hiroshi Hasegawa (ASTRO, ex. C.C.C.C.), Italian industrial music pioneer Maurizio Bianchi, Torturing Nurse, and Many Blessings (the solo project of Ethan Lee McCarthy from Primitive Man), among many others. -- ● CHIACHUN XU Born in 1997, Xu Chia-Chun is a sound artist, event planner and independent label manager. Xu began performing and creating Harsh Noise under the name ‘Berserk’ in 2015 and has been invited to tour in the UK, Japan and Malaysia before the project being suspended in early 2020. He has been practicing the use of No-input Mixing Board and developed a distinctive style in this technology. Xu is now a solo performer/creator who is dedicated to conducting workshops and cultivating the experimental music scene. He is also the director of the experimental music label ‘Karma Detonation Tapes’, which regularly releases noise and experimental music works from Taiwan and around the world to promote Taiwanese and worldwide noise and experimental music. In March 2019, he launched a monthly outdoor guerrilla noise gig ‘Outer Pulsation’ in public under/overpasses in Taipei, which provides both experienced and emerging local musicians with a platform to develop improvisational skills and experiment in different spaces.
